一 | Islamabad, Oct 20 (UNI) The number of dengue fever cases keeps on rising in Pakistan as another death was reported in the South Asian country.
The death was reported from the southern Sindh province, the provincial health department said on Wednesday evening.
In the last 24 hours, 307 new infections of dengue fever were reported in Sindh province, and the worst-hit area Karachi reported 189 new cases. With the newly-reported dengue cases,

The number of active cases in the province currently stands at 1,775 and the total number of cases this year has reached 15,316.
The eastern Punjab province reported 313 new cases in the last 24 hours, the provincial health authorities said on Wednesday.
Punjab's capital Lahore reported 157 new cases, followed by Rawalpindi city with 65 cases. The total number of dengue cases in Punjab this year has now gone up to 11,808.
The national capital Islamabad reported 111 new dengue cases in the last 24 hours, the health authorities said on Wednesday night.
The city's total tally has risen to 4,097 this year.
UNI GNK。 New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of All India Conference of Law Ministers and Law Secretaries on Saturday at around 10:30 am via video message.
The two day Conference is being hosted by the Ministry of Law and Justice at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.
The objective of the Conference is to provide a common forum for the policy makers to discuss issues relating to the Indian Legal and Judicial system, the PMO said.
The States and UTs will be able to share their best practices, exchange new ideas, and improve their mutual cooperation through this Conference, the PMO added.
The Conference will witness discussions revolving around topics like alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration and mediation for quick and affordable justice; upgrading overall legal infrastructure; removing obsolete laws; improving access to justice; reducing pendency of cases and ensuring speedy disposal; bringing uniformity in proposals relating to state bills for better centre-state coordination; strengthening of State Legal Systems, among others.
